•  It is engaged in the R&D of PLC technology, demand side management technology, electric enterprise information planning, electric enterprise information system platform technology, electric enterprise ERP technology, communication resource management system and the on-line monitor and measurement system by using optic fiber, OA system of electric enterprises, fuel dispatch and management system.

•  It has reached the advanced level in the area of PLC, communication resource management system and on-line monitor and measurement management system by using optic fiber and meter-reading system in the world. The PLC technology has reached the top level and has been awarded the second prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award.

The function module of electric enterprise information system covers the OA, planning, manufacturing and management of electric enterprises. Technologically, ERP thought and J2EE structure have been adopted with B/S structure compatible. The management feature of the electric power sector is taken into full consideration in the process of developing the function module of information system. The information system is thus more practical and adaptive to the electric power sector in China, compared with other systems from overseas or other fields.
