CEPRI has initiated the renewable energy
power generation research since 1994. The main research
involves large wind power plant integration, regional
power grid planning with wind power embedded, feasibility
study of large integrated wind power project and wind
power plant operation. CEPRI has undertaken a number
of research and consulting programs entrusted by the
National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC), the
Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC(MST), State
Grid Corporation of China(SGCC), provincial power companies
and other organizations in the related areas.
The Sino-German governmental cooperation
program ¡°China Wind Power Research and Training Center¡±,
now being implemented in CEPRI, will make CEPRI a technical
consulting and training organization with the international
advanced level in the field of wind power and enable
CEPRI to provide high quality technical services for
wind power developing companies and managing organizations
from both home and abroad.
CEPRI has carried out the research on
the distributed generation technology since 2002. The
focus of the research is on the mutual impact of integrated
distributed generation and power distribution network,
including the impact of the generation on power quality
of the distribution network, the impact of the configuration
and settings of protective relays, as well as the new
planning methods, new regulation & control methods
and the code of grid integration for the distributed
generation.
